How to play Renekton
The Power you have left over each turn becomes Energy, so you play units above your curve. Renekton, Rage Fueled deals 2 damage to all enemies when attacking with four runes or less, Renekton, Brute grows by paying Energy, and Dominus doubles a unit's Strength.
Domains: Fury and Body
Fury
Direct aggression: units that hit early and damage that closes games.
Body
Big units and more resources: win on size on the board.
A Renekton deck can only include cards from Fury and Body; its 12 Runes are split between those two Domains.
Phased game plan
- First shifts
Use legend to play a 5 or 6 cost unit in the first few turns.
- Midrange
Attack with Renekton, Rage Fueled while you are low on runes to clear the field.
- End of game
Dominus on your largest unit wins any combat and leaves it ready to repeat.
