Lee Sin Legend ability

By paying 1 Energy and depleting it, boost a unit of yours (if it didn't have a boost, gain +1 Strength).

Letter text: [1], [Exhaust]: Buff a friendly unit.

Your legend is in play from the first turn and cannot be removed, so this ability is the foundation on which the entire deck is built.

How to play Lee Sin

Calm and Body are the most robust domains in the game. The deck plays units with good stats and hands out boosts. Lee Sin, Centered gives +2 Strength to other powered units on its field, Lee Sin, Ascetic can accumulate boosts without limit and Dragon's Rage makes two rival units fight against each other.

Domains: Calm and Body

  • Calm

Defence and patience: protect your units and punish the attacker.

  • Body

Big units and more resources: win on size on the board.

A Lee Sin deck can only include cards from Calm and Body; its 12 Runes are split between those two Domains.

Phased game plan

  1. First shifts

Play units each turn and boost one with the legend whenever you have 1 Energy left.

  2. Midrange

Take a field with your powered units and defend it. Your fights are usually favorable.

  3. End of game

Lee Sin, Centered turns a boosted group into a force that the opponent cannot dislodge.

Cards for Lee Sin

As well as its Legend, Lee Sin has its own Champion Units and Signature cards. Choose one as your Chosen Champion; it starts the game outside the deck.

Strengths

  • Win almost all direct fights
  • Forgive beginner mistakes
  • Good balance between attack and defence

Weak points

Power-ups give only +1 per unit: it takes time to build up the advantage. Effects that return units to hand erase that work.

Who should play Lee Sin?

Who is looking for their first deck and prefers to win at the table, with clear battles.

Lee Sin has its own Champion Deck, an easy way to try the Legend before ordering a custom list.
