Lucian Legend ability
Your entire team gives Assault: +1 Strength while the equipped unit attacks.
Letter text: Your Equipment each give [Assault].Your legend is in play from the first turn and cannot be removed, so this ability is the foundation on which the entire deck is built.
How to play Lucian
The bonus is small, but it is added to what each team already does and is always active. Lucian, Gunslinger deals damage equal to his Assault when attacking, Lucian, Merciless prepares after her first conquest of the turn and Relentless Pursuit moves a unit and joins a passing team.
Domains: Fury and Body
Fury
Direct aggression: units that hit early and damage that closes games.
Body
Big units and more resources: win on size on the board.
A Lucian deck can only include cards from Fury and Body; its 12 Runes are split between those two Domains.

Unit in the first turn, team in the second and attack.
- Midrange
Lucian, Merciless equipped conquers, prepares and attacks again.
- End of game
Pile equipment on a single attacker to force the last few points.

Weak points
The bonus only counts when attacking: he defends badly. If the opponent destroys the team or holds out at the start, they fall short.
