Letter text: Your Mechs have [Shield].Your legend is in play from the first turn and cannot be removed, so this ability is the foundation on which the entire deck is built.
How to play Rumble
A Thematic Deck: Almost all units are Mechs and benefit from each other. Rumble, Scrapper gives them +1 Strength and creates a Mech on hold, Rumble, Hotheaded gives them Assault and recovers Mechs from the trash, and Danger Zone gives Strength to everyone and can be repeated.
Domains: Fury and Mind
Fury
Direct aggression: units that hit early and damage that closes games.
Mind
Spells, card draw and tricks to always stay one step ahead.
A Rumble deck can only include cards from Fury and Mind; its 12 Runes are split between those two Domains.
Phased game plan
- First shifts
Deploy cheap Mechs and take a field - they defend better than they look.
- Midrange
With Rumble, Scrapper on the table, your Mechs hit harder and a new one appears every turn.
- End of game
Repeated Danger Zone turns a group of Mechs into an ultimate attack.
Cards for Rumble
As well as its Legend, Rumble has its own Champion Units and Signature cards. Choose one as your Chosen Champion; it starts the game outside the deck.
